Nuclear, the Transparency and Participation meeting in Turin

Programs and progress of the authorization procedures and construction site activities carried out on the sites, safety aspects and results of radioprotection, environmental radiological control and monitoring activities: these are the items on the agenda of the 24th Transparency and Nuclear Participation meeting, held today in Turin, at the headquarters of the Piemonte Region Palace.

This is the periodic confrontation between institutions, operators, ARPA, supervisory authorities, social and trade union forces and environmental associations on the situation of nuclear waste in Piemonte.

The meeting, convened by the Regional assessor for the Environment, Matteo Marnati, was attended by the director of ISIN, Maurizio Pernice, and the head of the Nuclear Safety, Safeguards and Physical Protection Service, Paolo Zeppa.
