Honorary degree in nuclear engineering for the IAEA director general Mariano Grossi

The honorary master's degree in nuclear engineering was awarded today by the Milan Polytechnic to the general director of the IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency) Rafael Mariano Grossi.
The ceremony took place in the polytechnic headquarters in the presence, among others, of the director of ISIN, Maurizio Pernice.
Speaking during the ceremony with his "Lectio Magistralis", Mariano Grossi, referring to the Agency's activity in this delicate phase of the war in Ukraine, stated: "We must do everything in our power to protect the population from a nuclear accident. We have to act - Grossi said - because action generates hope and hope generates change, even in the most difficult situations. That's why I will continue to negotiate even if some do not consider it right".
