STRIMS, a video tutorial dedicated to owners of x-ray machines for healthcare facilities, including dentists

The video illustrates the procedure that holders of x-ray machines subject to notification for medical use in healthcare facilities (including dental and dental surgeries), must follow to:

- access the STRIMS electronic register;
- register;
- transmit the required information.

The STRIMS website is the answer to an important novelty foreseen by Legislative Decree 101/2020, i.e. the obligation to register on the ISIN institutional website for all operators in the sector, in particular for anyone who imports or produces for commercial purposes or, in any case, carries out trade in materials or sources of ionizing radiation, of those who carry out intermediation activities of the same, activities of possession of sources of ionizing radiation, transport of radioactive materials and of all subjects involved in the management of radioactive waste . These subjects, after registering on the site, must transmit information relating to each operation carried out, the type and quantity of sources involved in the operation.
