The Annual Report to the Government and Parliament is online, in which ISIN illustrates the activities of 2022 and the state of nuclear safety in Italy

The annual report of the Inspectorate on the state of nuclear safety in Italy was sent to the Government and Parliament, as required by current legislation. The document represents an important tool for taking stock of the objectives achieved by the ISIN and indicating the guidelines for future actions.

The implementation of effective controls and high levels of safety to protect the population, workers and the environment from the risks of ionizing radiation is the institutional mission of ISIN.

This general objective is expressed in actions aimed at implementing increasingly effective organizational measures and technical solutions that are constantly in line with the evolution of scientific knowledge at an international level. The Inspectorate is also committed to strengthening the supervisory and control activities, to consolidate scientific skills and competences, to develop relationships and exchanges of international knowledge and experience, to plan the generational turnover in the ISIN staff so as not to disperse the baggage of experience gained so far and prevent continuity solutions in the assigned functions and tasks.

Also available is a report, translated into graphs and figures, of the ISIN 2022 activities.
