TPR II, deadline for submitting questions on fire protection in nuclear plants extended to 12 February 2024

There is time until 12 February 2024 to submit applications on the topic of fires in nuclear plants (nuclear power plants, research reactors, plants related to the nuclear fuel cycle, plants in decommissioning, spent fuel storage plants and radioactive waste present on the sites of the installations themselves). An opportunity open to the public and stakeholders as part of the second cycle of Topical Peer Review (TPR II).

TPRs were introduced by the EURATOM Directive on nuclear safety and represent an opportunity to strengthen cooperation between EU Member States on topics of common interest. The Topical Peer Reviews are organized by ENSREG, with the contribution of the Western European Nuclear Regulators' Association (WENRA), in collaboration with the European Commission.
